Stadium in Tychy is one of the most modern in the Polish league and it’s currently the home of the GKS Tychy club. The Stadium was built in 1971, but it was fully modernized in 2015. The new facility has the third category of UEFA. The cost of the investment amounted to nearly 129 million PLN. The facility is equipped with a comfortable VIP area with lodges, a two-level restaurant and the parking area for over 300 cars.
The Stadium in Tychy is a multi-purpose facility – concerts or exhibition can be held there as well. This is one of the greatest strengths of the object. The Stadium officially opened on July 18, 2015 and at its inauguration GKS played with the German 1. FC Koeln (0: 1) in the presence of the 13 000 spectators.

GKS Tychy is a club founded in 1971. Five years later it achieved the greatest success in its history – second place in Polish Ekstraklasa. Among others, Roman Ogaza – who in 1976 represented Poland at the Olympic Games in Montreal and won a silver medal – represented the colors of GKS. Currently, the club is in the Ist league, being the competition’s newcomer. The team coach is Jurij Szatałow.
